Our friends' store on Fulton Street — a Bed-Stuy neighborhood staple for cigars and smoking accessories. When they were ready to transform the space, they called us.
Biggie and Jay-Z are both from Bed-Stuy — two Kings who came up on these same blocks and changed the world. We painted them large on the back wall, flanked by "Welcome to the $tuy!!" in script and the Franklin Ave / Fulton St street signs. A love letter to the neighborhood, built into the store itself.
The rest of the space got the same energy in a different register — neon-colored icons scattered across the walls and ceiling: boomboxes, diamonds, crowns, money bags, music notes, lightning bolts. Every surface covered, every inch intentional.
